​1) WHAT ARE THE BUNK/SLEEP ARRANGEMENTS?

The guys cabins are grouped and the girls cabins are grouped​

Youth will be bunked with others based on their age range
-
Each cabin will have young adult chaperone/leaders
-
There is a nightly curfew (see schedule)

3) WHAT IS THE CAMP LEADERSHIP?​
-
Volunteers have been background checked and completed Cultivate
-
COTR Youth Pastors Dan & Danielle Friess are onsite and overseen camp along with their team
-
Our target is approximately 1to4, staff-to-student ratio
-
Bunk leaders will act as small group leaders as well
-
Pastoral and adult staff are available to support youth with emotional, physical, spiritual needs
-
Nurse volunteers will be on site part of the time
-
Security volunteers will be on site part of the time

4) WHAT IS YOUTH PARTICIPATION AT CAMP?
-
We are asking youth to be involved in all corporate activities (see schedule)
-
We will be patrolling cabins to ensure no youth are disengaged
-
We will be engaging with non-participating youth to help them
-
There will be daily free time with staff oversight

5) WHAT IS THE CAMP TECHNOLOGY POLICY?​
-
Invitation Youth has been practicing a culture of engagement...
-
To this end, we are saying no technology devices (phones, tablets, game device, etc.) at camp
-
Youth will be able call home with their leaders phones
-
Not honoring this policy can result in a youth being dismissed from camp

6) WHAT ARE THE FOOD OPTIONS?
-
Food is typical camp food; there is always plenty to eat
-
Food sensitivity options will be available​​​

7) CAMP IS IN TOWN, WHAT DOES THAT LOOK LIKE?
-
Yes, summer camp is in town - yet, we are still away at camp
-
Camp Hope is a secluded facility this is where we will be a good portion of time
-
We are coming into Battle Ground for outreach and our evening services​

8) WHAT IF A YOUTH MISBEHAVES?
-
If you are familiar with COTR culture and theology, you appreciate that we are big on discipleship and the breakthrough Jesus Christ provides...
-
To this end, we intend to walk with any youth through challenges that may arise...
-
Encouraging them to live fully alive in Christ and honor camp policies and others
-
If issues persist, leadership will contact parent/gaurdians to discuss option

9) ARE YOUTH DRIVERS ALLOWED?
-
For safety and liability sake...
-
Youth drivers are NOT allowed to drive themselves to and from camp throughout the week
-
If your youth must leave camp (for any pre-approved reason), they must be picked up and dropped off by a parent/guardian
-
Again, a parent/guardian is required at check-in Monday morning at 10:00 AM at COTR
