Teaching our kids to

love Jesus, love people and influence the world!

At Church on the Rock we believe that God has a special purpose and plan for each child.  We have several age-appropriate classes that will help your children grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other. They engage in Bible lessons, songs and activities targeted for their age group. Our mission is to inspire kids to be world changers as they grow in their faith, passion, and purpose in Christ.

KIDS CHURCH CLASSES
Sunday Mornings Weekly @ 10am

We believe in Jesus’ words in Matthew 19:14 “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” We are blessed to have an abundance of children here at COTR and our Sunday morning kids church classes are for babies through 6th grade.

While you are at church your kids will enjoy worship and activities in a large group format followed by small group time to dive deeper into the biblical lesson of the week. Wondering what to expect? Click here.

KINGDOM KIDS
4th Thursday Monthly @ 6pm
September - May

Kingdom Kids is a youth group for 2nd-6th graders. Each month we have tons of fun playing games, doing crafts, eating snacks, and more. Our heart is discipleship. We want to be a part of your child's journey of experiencing who Jesus is, what it looks like to walk with the Holy Spirit, and how they can plug into their church family when they're in 2nd-6th grade!

Family Service + Potluck.jpg

FAMILY SERVICE
1st Sunday Monthly

On the first Sunday of every month, COTR gathers for Family Service—a time for families to worship and grow in the Word together in the tent. Kids in 1st grade and up join their families for the full service, making it a meaningful rhythm for learning and worship side by side.

After service, we head to the building for our monthly potluck. This shared meal is one of the simplest and most beautiful ways we practice fellowship—making room at the table for one another and for guests who join us.

You’re welcome to bring your dish before service and hand it off to our potluck team, who will be available at the portico to receive it.

Whether it’s a favorite recipe or a familiar family staple, every dish plays a part. We’re grateful for each contribution and look forward to gathering around the table together.

We can’t wait to share a meal with you.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
June 22nd-26th, 2026
REGISTRATION OPENS IN MAY

Vacation Bible School is an opportunity to show God's love to the kids in our community. VBS is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Unforgettable Bible songs, team building games, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. We'll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life; something we call "God Sightings"®.

What to Expect at a Weekend Service

Check In/Drop Off - All children must be "checked - in" to attend our Kids on the Rock classes during the Sunday worship service. If it's your first time with us, please visit our manned check-in station at the kids check-in counter where one of our volunteers will assist you.

Each child will receive a sticker with their name, any important allergy information and randomly generated alphanumeric code. As a parent or guardian you will receive a pick-up sticker with the matching code. Once they are checked-in, all children through 6th grade can be brought to their classes before the start of the worship service. (After your info is in our system, you can visit one of the self check-in stations and print the check-in stickers yourself.)

Pick up - After the service please return to the classrooms to pick up your children. Please make sure to have your pick-up sticker with you or you will be asked to return to the check-in station and show ID to get a new sticker printed.

Health and Safety Protocol

The health and safety of all our children at COTR is very important for us. For that reason we ask that if your children are sick that you not check them into class. We reserve the right to refuse to accept a child into a class if it exposes the teachers or other children to illness. We like sharing... but please don't share your sick bugs!

Our volunteers are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened and has completed a background check.
