Today take some time to read Isaiah 58 out loud.

a. What is God's definition of a fast?

b. Why were the people not being heard?

c. What words stand out to you? Is there a phrase that jumped out at you?


Read it again. Highlight anything else that stands out.


Pray each phrase/word that stood out to you over:

  1. Yourself

  2. Your family

  3. Our COTR Church family

  4. Battle Ground (and the area you live, if it's not Battle Ground)

  5. Washington State

  6. The United States

  7. Other Nations (ask the Lord which nation to focus on today).
